Today the flooded fields adjacent to Big Creek, just west of Walsingham,
had hundreds of Tundra Swans & at some points over a thousand ducks.
The ducks included Ring-Necked, Pintails, Wigeons, Mallards, Hooded
Mergansers, Wood ducks, Black ducks. Birds were continually flying in &
out all day.
Sorry, I didn't get down to Long Point today but last night there were
swans all along the Causeway close to shore.
Walsingham is about 18 km north of Long Point on Hwy #59.
