Four greater yellowlegs were early migrants at Kaiser Crossroad today, along
with about 800 Bonaparte’s gulls. While a few of the gulls are seen during
migration each year, this number is exceptional – perhaps even unprecedented.

DIRECTIONS: From Picton, take Bridge Street/Highway 33 towards the Glenora
ferry. Just before the ferry (There will be a sign.), turn right on Lake on the
Mountain Road/County Road 7. Proceed to Kaiser Crossroad and turn right. The
birds are on the second wetland on the left.
