Yesterday, 3 early lesser yellowlegs joined the greater yellowlegs on the south wetland of Kaiser Crossroad. Bonaparte’s gull numbers were down by 500 to about 300, still a very impressive sight.
DIRECTIONS: From Picton, take Bridge Street/Highway 33 toward Glenora ferry. Just before the ferry (There will be a sign.), turn right on Lake on the Mountain Road/County Road 7. Proceed to Kaiser Crossroad and turn right. The birds are on the second wetland on the left. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
