Alvan Buckley and I located an early Swainson's Thrush on Hasting's Drive about 60 minutes ago.
The bird was across from house marker 299 and was quite active despite the sub-freezing temperatures. Before dropping Alvan off, I had a quick walk through Old Cut. All the typical early-mid April species were present in decent numbers. Good birding, Ken Burrell (and Alvan Buckley) Sent from my BlackBerry device on the Rogers Wireless Network _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
