Weather:
Gloomy and overcast all day with sporadic rain, the wind was moderate and
mostly out of the northwest.

Raptor Observations:
Today was surprisingly active. A good number of birds were itching to move
despite the soggy conditions, Red-tailed and Red-shouldered hawks chief
among them. Great looks at a gorgeous dark morph Red-tailed Hawk and two
more Golden Eagles were a pleasing afternoon treat.

Non-raptor Observations:
Common Loon (4), Bonaparte's Gull (15+), Common Grackle (200+), Cedar
Waxwing (35+)

Predictions:
Partly cloudy with highs in the mid 40s and light north wind. Judging by
the quality of today's flight in less-than-ideal conditions, tomorrow
should be even better.
