I have found and taken multiple pictures of a purple sandpiper at CSSP, presumably the same bird that was found here by Henrique Pachico this past weekend.
There are four small mini rock jetties that extend out into the lake from the main walking path jetty at the extreme south end if the park. All of them are just west of the Whimbrel Watch point. I left the bird 10 minutes ago on outer portion of the most westward of the four mini-jetties. It is the furthest one away from the Whimbrel Watch point. Colonel Sam Smith Park is located south of the intersection of Kipling Ave and Lakeshore Blvd. David Pryor Sent from my iPhone _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
