Temperatures never rose above the mid 40s. And the wind was howling, gusting strongly out of the west all day. Raptor Observations: Few raptors were willing to brave the strong west wind. Non-raptor Observations: Small numbers of American Goldfinch, House Finch, Snow Bunting, Horned Lark, Red-winged Blackbird and European Starling passed on by throughout the day. Predictions: Clear with highs in the upper 30s and light west wind. Could be a good day, especially after such poor conditions of late.
