Update from my last report: Bird has one leg that seems to be sticking out a 
ways from the body, maybe a injury of some sort. Observed it diving and 
catching prey without not to much difficulty. See links for 2 images.

Directions:

Exit highway 401 at exit 615, Sir John A MacDonald Blvd, and go south until
it ends. Then left on King Street past the big smoke stack at Kingston
General Hospital. At the traffic light at Barrie Street continue on King
Street East to next traffic light at West Street. Turn right and follow this
round the bend at the Pumphouse Museum. It is now called Ontario Street.
Continue to next lights and turn right to reach marina.
