Erwin Meissner reports two Gyrfalcons at Kelly Lake in Sudbury - one white
morph and one gray morph. They have been there about 10 days and are preying
on Mallards and Gadwalls at Kelly Lake, which is just off Highway 17
(Trans-Canada Highway). Erwin said the Gyrfalcons are often difficult to see
when perched on rock outcrops against a snow background. Directions: See
Google map. Five hours north of Toronto. No guarantees.
