Seen this morning around 10:30 - initially bird was in the middle of a thicket
of dead wood in the middle of the shrub area - not too visible - after a few
minutes of patient, quiet, waiting she emerged to feed on crabapples right on
the edge of the road. Beautiful bird! Also saw a red-bellied woodpecker
feeding there.
Directions from 401 travel north on Brock road then right on Wellington 34 left
on Victoria then right on Conservation Rd. On the right is the dam and dam
road. Facing the dam on your left are fruiting shrubs/crabapples. Bird feeds
here.
