Early this morning there were four Greater White-fronted Geese just east of Shrewsbury near Rondeau. They were very skittish and proceeded to fly towards Rondeau Bay where they are currently not visible.
They should come back out to feed at some point. Jim Burk Directions: Exit highway 401 at Kent Rd. 15. Proceed south to New Scotland Line. Turn right and head towards Shrewsbury. They tend to feed anywhere along this road but usually between Mull Rd. and Shrewsbury. There was a dead (long winter) Tundra Swan right beside the road where they were feeding. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
