Hello birders.  I spent the day birding with Len Manning on the Niagara 
Peninsula.  52 species.  Horned Larks, Snow Buntings and Tundra Swans were the 
most noticeable migrants.
 
At the end of the day we found two Snow Geese (blue morph) at Jones Beach in 
Port Weller.  This is on the east side of the east pier area.  These could be 
the same two blue geese (see his photo) reported to eBird by Rick Stronks on 
Feb. 28th from Dingle Park in Oakville.
 
Other birds seen included the stakeout adult Red-headed Woodpecker in Vineland 
area which also had a White-crowned Sparrow.  3 White-crowned Sparrows were at 
a feeder on 10th Road East.
 
There was a bright female Dark-eyed "Slate-colored" Junco coming to a feeder 
with lots of juncos and tree sparrows on 6th Rd. East south of Ridge Rd.  It 
stood out markedly from the other birds present, being very "peachy-brown" on 
the sides.
