With sadness I note that yesterday, March 18, 2014, Thomas Norton Hayman passed away peacefully at his home in London, Ontario.
Tom lived in the London area all his life and was a birder from a young age. He wrote a birding column in the London Free Press for 48 years and taught bird identification courses at Fanshaw College. He received a Certificate of Appreciation in 2003 from the Ontario Field Ornithologists and in 2006 a Conservation Award from Nature London. Visitation Friday, March 21 from 7 - 9 pm at the Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James at Richmond, London.
