Attendees should be aware that there is still very extensive deep snow on
the ground in Algonquin Park. High, water-proof winter footwear will be
required for some off-road and off-trail birding activity.

The trip will start at the West Gate at 9 am. The first planned birding stop
will be at Spruce Bog Boardwalk (km 42.5 on Highway 60) at about 9.45 am.
Birders coming from the east may wish to join us at Spruce Bog rather than
driving to the West Gate and then returning east.

Park vehicle permits (required) will be available for purchase at the West
Gate staring at 9 am.

Good news: No black flies and the weather forecast sounds promising!
