Birders, The young male Kirtlands Warbler continues to be seen in the pine stands just east of the pumphouse at Long Point new provincial park. During our Visit the bird was seen twice before heavy rains dampened efforts further. It is associating with mixed warbler flocks and is quite active so be dilligent.
Long Point new park is at the lake end of hwy 59. Enter the park for a few bucks and continue past the pumphouse on main road. You will see the sandy area with many conifers. Get at it!
