The first year male Summer Tanager I reported yesterday was present all day today, in and around my back yard and ranging around the neighbourhood. It visits my suet feeder every 15 - 30 minutes and by mid-morning started singing fairly regularly. If anyone's interested in trying to see it, please call first.

I live 1 km north of Bessarion Station on the Sheppard Subway Line. The station is on Sheppard Avenue between Bayview and Leslie, where Bessarion Road goes to the south and Burbank Drive to the north.
