Just wanted to add that today's reported Black Vulture was seen by myself and
5-6 other hawkwatchers at the Rosetta McClain Gardens Raptor Watch in southern
Scarborough at roughly 2:40 PM. From our position the Vulture rose up above
the tree line at the north edge of the park (Kingston Road), circled a couple
of times on a thermal with a few Turkey Vultures before breaking off and
heading due west. This was our first ever Black Vulture since the start of
hawkwatching at Rosetta back in 2004.

Rosetta McClain Gardens is located along Kingston Road roughly 1 km east of
Birchmount Road in southern Scarborough. Watch for the entrance to the park on
the right-hand side.
