We have had a northern shrike in the yard for two days now. He seems to be working a territory along the cottages north of the visitor centre.
The Park is closed to the public today, Wednesday, but will be open again tomorrow. Our cottage is 17372 Lakeshore. and birders are welcome. When you come in the yard check the roadside feeder area first then slowly go around the left side of the cottage to see if it is in one of the trees or the hedge. Take exit 101 off the 401 and follow the signs for Rondeau Provincial Park. Once in the park go to Lakeshore Rd. The bird may also be visiting the feeders at the visitor centre which is just south of our place. Just seen at 11.50am.
