A male Eurasian Wigeon was found at 11am this morning at Doug Fluhrer Park,
Kingston, in with approximately 250 American Wigeon. It spent much of its
time sleeping so a careful scan with a scope is recommended. However, a
Red-tailed hawk is patrolling the area, which puts up the gulls and causes
all the ducks to put their heads up. A Red-necked Grebe and 2 Ruddy Ducks
are also present. An eBird report will be posted shortly.

Directions: Doug Fluhrer Park (44.237758, -76.480700) is located at the
(north) terminus of Wellington Street. Many choices of entry into Kingston
but pick up Princess St. (accessible from the western and central exits from
the 401) and follow it downtown. Turn left onto Wellington (this is two
junctions before the waterfront) and follow to the end.

Good birding,

Mark.
