03.12.14 - 2pm - Had to retreat to the water's edge to get under the strong
westerly so we could steady our scopes enough to see the greenish carbuncles
atop the beaksof 3 Ross's Geese that had just flown in. Also noted among the
mob of Canada Geese were 4 Snow Geese of which 2 were Blue Morphs.
The Snow Geese have been around for a while but the Ross's Geese were spotted
by several birders both today and yesterday.
Reesor Pond lies just north of Hwy 407 on Reesor Road in Markham.
