An immature male Pine Warbler has been coming to backyard suet and nyjer seed
feeders at a residence in Port Weller since January 16th. The residence owner,
Nel Dekker, does not mind birders coming to see the bird. The feeders can be
easily seen from their driveway at 709 Read Road, Port Weller, St. Catharines.
It is best to drive into the driveway and use the car as a blind given the
warbler and other birds are quite skittish. The bird was seen all day Sunday.

Directions:
Exit the Queen Elizabeth Highway in St. Catharines at Niagara Street. Proceed
north 5 km. to the T intersection at Lakeshore Road. Turn right here and
continue east over the Lock 1 Welland Canal bridge three blocks to Read Road.
Turn left and drive to the end of the road. The residence is on your right and
backs on to the lake. Turn right on the front laneway and then left into the
driveway. The feeders are to the left of the residence at about the middle of
the yard.

Good luck
