All the cells at West Perth Wetlands are now open and waterfowl are numerous.  
This afternoon there were Northern Shoveler, American Widgeon, Green-winged 
Teal, Ring-necked Duck, Lesser Scaup, Bufflehead, Ruddy Duck, Mallard, black, 
Canada Goose, along with a single coot. Above the cells Tree Swallows and 
Killdeer flew around.
 
West Perth Wetlands are on the south side of Mitchell, 20 km NW of Stratford.  
From Ontario Street (Hwy 8) travel south on Wellington Street to Frank Street.  
Cross over and follow the gravel to the parking lot.  No permits are required.
