The Eurasian Wigeon found earlier by Reuven Martin et al at The Townsend Lagoons, is still present. Rich Poort and I viewed the bird in the north east cell. Photos have been secured during this top secret mission.
Be advised there are hundreds of ducks at this location and the dabblers fly in and out to corn fields. Patience and a scope are required. Take hwy 6 south of hamilton and in jarvis go right on Hwy 3. Continue to Keith Richardson parkway and go right. Take left at concession 14 and the lagoons are on right.
