The reported bird is still present. On the west shore of Hickory Island in 
Cootes Paradise. The bird will not be visible from High Level bridge or points 
east of Hickory Island unless it moves. You need to walk trails on the north 
shore of the bay to Pine Point or nearby. 

Due to some event I assume parking @ RBG Arboreteum is not advised as very 
expensive. Park on Homestead or York and walk trails. 

QEW/403 to plains Rd. To York Road. Either take old Guelph Rd to Homestead or 
continue along York to park near dog park and then follow trails south to the 
bay. 

Hickory Island is only significant island in the bay after the High Level 
bridge.
