Visitors:

Weather:
Dense fog shut us down early but cleared by 1000 am, revealing a shining
sun and blue sky as far as the eye could see. The wind was light and out of
the east.

Raptor Observations:
After a slow morning, the floodgates opened in the afternoon. An assortment
of Sharp-shinned Hawks, Broad-winged Hawks and American Kestrels rushed
through, interrupted by the occasional Merlin, Northern Harrier or Bald
Eagle. The flight slowed to a trickle by early evening, chasing us away.

Non-raptor Observations:
Besides the Blue Jays (1600+), songbird migration was again minimal. Black
Saddlebags (4) and Common Green Darners (8) continue to drift by. Monarchs
(312) remained noticeable, particularly in the afternoon.

Predictions:
Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 70s and light east wind.
