The date was chosen because the first weekend in October is often the best chance for rarities. We have three days of field trips and workshops and this year we are going to some hot spots in Windsor and Wheatley which are new for the convention. Our keynote speaker is Dr. David Bird. Dr. Bird is a well known ornithologist, teacher and speaker who is known for his entertaining and engaging talks. If you have already registered, please check the recently updated information on the OFO website. Unfortunately the St. Clair Wildlife Area trip is cancelled because of high water levels and construction. The meeting place for the Ojibway trip is now Ojibway, not the Roma Club Parking Lot.
