I just had an adult Franklin's Gull fly past from West to East a few hundred
metres out while birding the beach at Holiday Beach Conservation Area. It
appeared to be an adult, with a uniform dark grey mantle and thick white marks
near its wing tips. There is a large group of gulls feeding about a kilometre
offshore. I suspect that's where this bird is, but if still travelling along
the coast it could pass Kingsville and Point Pelee areas. I lost track of it
while trying to phone someone to tell them about it :(

Good birding!
