While searching unsuccessfully from shortly after dawn until 11 a.m. for the Pink-footed Goose at the junction of Highway 138 andLaflèche Road, at approximately 10:45 a.m. I picked out an adult Greater White-fronted Goose in the impressive group of Snow Geese (50,000 - 100,000) at that location.
DIRECTIONS: Take Hwy 417 east from Ottawa past Casselman and take exit 58. Turn south on Hwy 138. After a short distance turn right on Laflèche Road, or scan from the edge of Highway 138 near that junction. Happy Birding!
