Hi; On the Bruce Birding Clubs way home from the Niagara Gull Weekend we stopped at Fifty Point. The adult male King Eider was spotted amongst the hundreds of Scoters and Longtails by our youngest member 13 year old Grace Dyer.
Directions; Fifty Point Conservation Area is just east of Hamilton on the south shore of Lake Ontario. The Eider was seen from the high point of land between the marina and the beach.
