Greetings All, I was outside on the roof fiddling with the Christmas lights
when a group of 5 cranes flew overhead. They were travelling north as they
followed the Lake Simcoe shoreline. Also of note was the red-bellied
woodpecker which has returned to the area after a 5 month hiatus.

Beaverton is on the eastern shore of Lake Simcoe about 1h15m north-east of
Toronto. A good viewing location is the harbour at the foot of Simcoe St.
