Birders:
The Gyrfalcon which has been seen regularly over the last several weeks in north central Lambton County, south of Forest, was seen this afternoon, March 18. The Gyr was located on the south side of a large grove of spruce trees at 6890 Brick Yard Line. A couple of photos are on my blog. http://pawsnaturenuggets.blogspot.ca/2016/03/gyrfalcon-success.html Directions: From Hwy 402, take Hwy 21 (interchange 34) north towards Forest. Turn right (east) at Brick Yard Line. Go past Elarton Road, and about another half kilometre or so beyond that intersection, you will find property 6890, on the north side of Brick Yard Line. The spruce grove is quite a way off the road. Good birding to weekend searchers!
