At 3:00 PM, March 26 there was a flock of feeding Tundra Swans along Jane St. just south of Strawberry Lane in the Holland Marsh. This is the first time I have seen them in this location at a fairly close range beside the road. There were at least 110 birds. Mixed in with the swans were the usual Mallards and Canadian Geese and a few N. Pintail. From Hwy. 400 take the Canal Rd. exit and make an immediate right turn. Drive parallel to Hwy 400 until you get to the turn at the Muck Research Station. Turn left and proceed to Jane St. and then turn left again. Keep on Jane  until just before you get to Strawberry Lane. Swans are on right side of road.
