The Great Egret, previously reported yesterday, is still present at/near
the Ed Centre. At times it is out in the open in the channels off the
Nonquon River along Old Simcoe and 10th Line. However, probably because of
the cold weather and wind, it hunkers down in the dead cattails and
disappears.

Directions: From hwy 7A in Port Perry, travel north several miles on Old
Simcoe to the bridge over the Nonquon and adjacent to the 10th Line of
Scugog Twp.
