It was southwest of the Whimbrel Watch. Much further out, 500 metres, than the last two days. It dove and was briefly located about 800 metres out moving to the southwest. A note of caution, it takes a lot of patience and luck to see this bird. Other birders present did not see the bird. It dives for one periods of time and can move a considerable distance under water. Best time is early morning after sunrise to 7:15 AM. Preferably with calm water. Good luck. The park is located at the south end of Kipling Ave. On Lake Ontario.
