FYI.... the bird was still present this morning at 11:30.... would guess it would remain at least for rest of day if not longer. It was in the SW corner as usual.
I went down the berm trail/road to pumphouse. The bird was located at the ten oclock position using the view across the marsh to the platform as 12 oclock. It was foraging on fairly dry land on the northern edge of the water lillies. To reach Second Marsh from Toronto, take the 401E to Harmony St. in Oshawa. Head south on Farewell to Colonel Sam Drive and take a left (east). The viewing platform is on the west side of the main GM building (the blue one from the highway). To get to the berm trail, park on Col Sam near the bridge over creek well before GM building and travel on foot down the berm trail/road.... about 1.5 km to lake. Bruce F.
