The Common Ringed Plover was seen at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday 24 August by
volunteer TRCA staff. The park is open weekday afternoons from 4:00 p.m. to
9.

It's a long walk (about 2.5 to 3 km) with no shade so please be prepared.
This is the only update I expect to make today.

Directions: Tommy Thompson Park is at Leslie and Unwin Avenue in Toronto.
Park on Leslie or Unwin. Walk out the main road. Pass the booth in the
middle of the road and continue walking until the road forks. Take the left
fork and continue walking to Cell 2 on your right. This wetland is newly
constructed with islands, logs, stumps, fencing and metal poles.
