A Fish Crow has, according to the chief park naturalist, been present for
several days near the tip of the point feeding on dogwood berries. We saw
it twice yesterday but both times it flew over it was silent. Many others
have heard typical vocalizations, however.

Today, an adult Lesser Black-backed Gull was on sitting on east beach just
south of the sparrow field.
