The morning started with a nice clouded over sky, but the clouds disappeared in the afternoon. Raptor Observations: A few Turkey Vultures moving, majority of which went past between 10 to 11 local time. Small numbers of 6 other raptor species. Non-raptor Observations: Highlight of the day was a Plegadis Ibis sp. that was observed landing in the marsh just before 10am local time. Hopefully it will stick around and get identified to species. There was a late Common Gallinule in the marsh, as well as a large number of American Coot. 3,590 Blue Jays, 2 Eastern Bluebirds, 88 American Robins, 570 Red-winged Blackbirds, 59 Rusty Blackbirds, and 499 American Goldfinches were counted migrating past the tower.
