Ross's Goose continues at Exeter Lagoons. As well,, the Greater White fronted was also seen again this evening.‎ If you see the pair of barnyard Geese, that is not the one!

Good Birding,

Subject: Probable juvenile Ross's Goose, Exeter Lagoons

Folks: There appears to be a probable Ross's Goose at the lagoons this morning. Smallish, white Goose with black primaries. Grey secondaries, with grey running down the back of the short neck. Stubby bill with a grey line running through eye as shown in Sibley's. Very white bird as opposed to all over grey of juvenile Snow. Too far to reliably see nodules on base of bill.

Bird is sleeping on West shore of first cell as you enter the lagoons.
Airport Line, so that of Hwy 83, Northwest of Exeter...

Regards,
Rick Thornton,
Exeter
