Weather:
Moderate West winds all day. Unlike yesterday, the blue sky was able to
break through the clouds today! Unfortunately it was only visible for about
2 minutes.

Raptor Observations:
Two Red-tailed Hawks were hanging around most of the day, usually along the
North shore. Eventually, after filling it's crop to the brim, one of them
migrated West over the marsh. The only other bird of the day was like
yesterday, a young male Northern Harrier, this one a little further along
in its molt.

Non-raptor Observations:
Surprisingly good day for migrating passerines. 834 Horned Larks migrated
over the tower today, all before 11, and 643 of them were between 9-10. 44
American Robins, 18 American Pipits, 7 Lapland Longspurs, and 194 Snow
Buntings, which were all in mixed flocks with Horned Larks. 674 American
Goldfinch also migrated over. For the full eBird checklist, go to
http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist/S32719366

Predictions:
Hopefully a little more sunshine tomorrow! Similar winds as today, just
slightly stronger.
