A Plegadis ibis, likely a Glossy, is feeding in the A.K.Sculthorpe (aka Lake
Street) marsh in Port Hope today, Saturday Nov.26.
Its crown still has white streaking, suggesting a juvenile, eye chestnut brown,
head very dark with thin whitish line above and below lores.
Bill and legs dark greenish gray. Bill possibly dull reddish at base but facial
skin dark.
Found by Gary Little around 11am, still being seen 1.45pm. Photos.

Directions: From 401 take Exit 464 south on Ontario then Mill Street, at the
railway bridge turn left (east) at the lights onto Peter Street.
At next traffic lights turn right (south) on Lake Street following east along
the lakeshore to parking lot for the marsh. Walk in about 100 metres to first
pond.
