A black vulture was seen and photographed on phone and ipad at 3:45 p.m. in 
company of 5 TUVU. It was feeding on a dead raccoon and perched on a fence post 
for several minutes before heading s/w  towards Upper Canada Village. It was on 
Anderson Road  approx. 1/2 k.m. west of Aultsville Road seen at 20 ft. and 
photo-ed with white wingtips clearly visible. Smaller size and black head dark 
bill contrasted  to the turkey vultures in the corn field behind it.This is 
just north of Upper Canada Migratory Bird Sanctuary.
