This is not about a sighting but an FYI....
Was doing some wet birding at Presqu'ile this morning but was asked politely by park staff to leave the Lighthouse loop area. The wet spring is causing erosion so they have closed the lighthouse loop.Anyone that is considering going birding there may want to call ahead to find out if any of the park can be accessed. As as all the beaches and the marsh boardwalk entrances are gated as well, and it looks like it will be raining most of the day.
