Hi all, Posting on behalf of Peter Burke who has just located a male Dickcissel in a hayfield north of Castleton. The bird is on Jakobi Road, just north of Moore Road in a hayfield on the west side where the power lines cross the road.
Directions: Most direct route from Hwy 401 is to go north at Cty Road 25 (the Big Apple exit) which takes you to Castleton. Once in Castleton continue north and the main road (which is now Cty Rd 22) will swing left to make a 90 degree turn. Jakobi goes north from Cty Rd 22 once the 90 degree turn is completed.
