Late yesterday afternoon, I drove west out of Strathroy on Calvert. I turned
onto Kerwood Road. Right at that intersection, on the west side of Kerwood
Road, there is a field with lots of scrubby bushes. There was a Dickcissel
there (possibly two) singing up a storm. I saw the bird several times.

In addition, I also heard a Red-necked Pheasant call at least half a dozen
times off in the distance.
