At least 5 perhaps even 6 Pacific Loons in view at a time at Minet's Point park this morning.
Around 3-400 Commons Loons, many Red-necked Grebes and a small number of Little Gulls flying around with the many Bonaparte Gulls. Directions: Exit Hwy 400 at Essa Road in Barrie, head east toward lake, turn right in Tiffin which curves right and becomes Lakeshore Rd. Turn left after a couple of km's at Minet's Point Road, park is at lake off this road. Be careful as Essa road is under construction and you will have to detour around it via Anne St South.
