No viewing opportunities available. On Oct 21.17 a juvenile PUGA was picked up along Hwy 62 south of Bancroft near Weslemkoon Lake Rd. The bird was in distress.it appeared to have a peck hole on the top of the head and a damaged right wing. The bird was taken to a licensed wildlife rehabilitation centre, was x-rayed and cared for. Prognosis is no permanent damage. The bird appears to be doing well now and will be kept over winter with the goal of releasing it in the Spring.
