Bruce Di Labio just called to say he had a first year Gannet fly by along the shore of Constance Bay west of Ottawa at 12:30. He lost sight of the bird and did not refind it but the bird was heading east so a check of the Ottawa River around Lake Deschenes may be advisable.
A first year Gannet was also seen yesterday near the Quebec border on the Ottawa River.
