A dark juvenile Snowy Owl has been showing up at the marina at the south end of Frenchman's Bay in Pickering in the evenings this week - here on Friday 12th at dusk; on Tuesday she was feeding on a duck on a dock! This followed a peregrine here earlier in the week also enjoying an avian meal. There is has also been a white-winged scoter in the Bay channel. Frenchman's Bay marina is at the south end of Liverpool road in Pickering.
