I spent a lovely day with a friend at Rondeau Provincial Park. We saw a great
assortment of birds.

Blue Jays, Cardinals, horned grebe, lesser scaups, buffleheads, purple martin,
tree swallows, ruby and golden crowned kinglets, red bellied woodpecker, house
finches, goldfinch, flickers, downy woodpecker, veery, hermit thrushes,
Nashville warbler, bald eagle, pileated woodpecker , tufted titmouse, red
breasted nuthatch, white breasted nuthatches, various sparrows, rock dove,
Canada geese, swan, mallard, grackles, starlings, red winged blackbirds.

The bird of note for me was the Nashville warbler. We have never seen one this
early in the year.
